CBN is About You

“How can CBN enhance my personal life and enrich professional life?”

Ultimately, CBN is about you. We exist to enable you to become thoroughly equipped, well connected, and fully empowered to serve people and to represent Christ with integrity and excellence in every place.

You bring a unique set of challenges and ambitions to this network that we hope to effectively address in order to help you become your utmost for His Highest.

In terms of challenges, are you driven to take action and to seek help from a community of Christ-followers due to the pain and frustrations you may now be experiencing in your business or ministry? Are you struggling with the weight of debt, the lack of cash flow, the consequences of poor planning, a lack of vision for the future, the drudgery of work, alienation from associates, a lack of career opportunities, incompetent employees, an ungrateful employer, untrustworthy partners, the fear of failure, too few clients, too few connections, no leads, no referrals, no supporters, no advisers, no friends, no employment, no revenue, no income, and on and on? If so, then you are in good company. We were never designed by our Creator to do life alone! On the contrary, we were designed to function most effectively in community. As King Solomon tells us, “Two are better than one because they have a good reward for their efforts. For if either falls, his companion can lift him up; but pity the one who falls without another to lift him up.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9–10) Therefore, we invite you to join our community and journey with us as we mutually learn to live out the "one another's" in Scripture such as “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)

In terms of ambitions, are you driven by a passion to achieve some measure of success in your business or ministry? As long as your motives are right (2 Corinthians 5:9), this is nothing for which you need to apologize. The Apostle Paul exhorts Christ-followers to develop godly ambitions to achieve and to win: “Don’t you know that the runners in a stadium all race, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way to win the prize.” (1 Corinthians 9:24) Perhaps the most compelling statement that should encourage every Christian to pursue the highest measure of lasting success in their calling in life came from Jesus himself in His Parable of the Talents. He illustrates how God will reward His people in the Kingdom in a similar way that a master would reward his servants who have wisely invested his possessions on loan to them. “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.” (Matthew 25:21) This is the very statement that we want to help prepare our members to hear at the end of your life. Therefore, we invite you to join our community and journey with us as we mutually strive to become our utmost for His Highest.

“As a community of Christian business people, the more we comprehend the value of working and the power of networking with like-minded business and ministry associates, the more we mutually benefit from our collective strengths, skills, and expertise.” Michael Chetelat, President
