Membership Standards

It is our desire that, as a network of Christian business associates, we understand and uphold God's revealed standards as our primary rule of faith and practice - for He alone is our ultimate Judge, and His Word is the standard by which He will judge us.

I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you; however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained.” (Philippians 3:14-16)

Our Confessional Standards

The BIBLE: We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original manuscripts, and the final authority on matters related to sound doctrine and godly living.1

The GODHEAD: We believe in one true God who created all that exists, and that He is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.2

MAN, SIN & DEATH: We believe that although Adam and Eve were originally created in God’s image, their willful disobedience to His command (sin) resulted in mankind’s condemnation and alienation from God (death), rendering it impossible for anyone to know and please God apart from the enabling of the Holy Spirit.3

The PERSON of JESUS CHRIST: We believe that Jesus Christ is the living Word of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, and is therefore both wholly God and wholly man.4

The LIFE & DEATH of CHRIST: We believe that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, performed miracles attesting to His deity, was crucified on a cross on our behalf, subsequently died and was buried thereby satisfying God’s justice and accomplishing our salvation.5

The RESURRECTION of CHRIST: We believe that Jesus Christ rose bodily from the dead after having died on a cross, subsequently ascended into heaven, and now sits at the right hand of God the Father where He continually intercedes for His people.6

The RETURN of CHRIST: We believe that Jesus Christ will one day personally and visibly return to earth with great power and glory as the King of kings and Lord of lords to execute judgment upon His enemies and to provide redemption for His people.7

The HOLY SPIRIT: We believe that the Holy Spirit is actively at work convicting people of their sin, moving them to repentance, drawing them to Christ, regenerating them, sealing their adoption, indwelling them, and empowering them to live godly and fruitful lives.8

SALVATION & ETERNAL LIFE: We believe that salvation from eternal damnation, reconciliation with God, and the gift of eternal life can only come from trusting completely in Christ’s death and resurrection on our behalf and not as the result of any human merit, good works, or religious ceremonies on our part.9

“We have to learn to walk according to the standard which has its eyes focused on God.” Oswald Chambers, My Utmost for His Highest, May 25th

Our Professional Standards

Developing a Passion for Wisdom

Get wisdom, get understanding... Don't abandon wisdom, and she will watch over you; love her, and she will guard you. Wisdom is supreme—so get wisdom! And whatever else you get, get understanding. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; if you embrace her, she will honor you.” (Proverbs 4:5–8)

Showing Compassion for People

The LORD is good to everyone; His compassion rests on all He has made.” (Psalm 145:9)

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” (Colossians 3:12)

Committing to Personal Integrity

Surely You desire integrity in the inner self, and You teach me wisdom deep within.” (Psalm 51:6)

I will pay attention to the way of integrity... I will live with integrity of heart in my house.” (Psalm 101:2)

Striving for Professional Excellence

Be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the Lord's work, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:58)

And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8)

Aspiring to Christ-like Greatness

Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be a slave to all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:43–45)

Demonstrating Christ-Centered Service

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” (Colossians 3:23–24)

Establishing Kingdom Priorities

No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and wealth... But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you as well.” (Matthew 6:24-33)

“We are here, not as immature angels, but as men and women, to do the work of this world. And we are to do it with an infinitely greater power to withstand the struggle because we have been born from above... We must never consider our moments of inspiration as the standard way of life—our work is our standard.” Oswald Chambers, My Utmost for His Highest, May 1st
